April 13th

Ten hours in the paint booth, painting the wings.  The results were very good...

April 14th

Rerouted a few wires that were causing problems (magnetic fields) with the compass and EFIS.  Probably have to do a little more, before it's all over with, but things are definitely looking up...

April 18th

Retrieved the wings from the paint shop.  The finished product has to be seen to fully appreciate it.  Assembled the aircraft and hooked up the ailerons.  Checked all control systems.  Everything is within spec.  Firewall forward kit is in the country and should ship to me soon.  Engine is ordered and should arrive in a week.  Prop is ordered, however will probably not arrive for a month or so...

April 19th

Installed some placards and the wing walk tape, then broke the plane down and cradled the wings.  Installed pitot tube and inspection covers.  Started design of the trailer...

April 24th

More fine tuning on the panel.  Installed the MAP gauge and isolated the avionics power.  Installed connectors to the PTT wiring, on the starboard stick, to make it removable...

April 29th

Engine arrived, today.  Uncreated it and mounted the support ring.  Seems to be an alignment problem with the water pump outlet tubes on the port side...
